The UAE SDG Data Hub monitors and records the country’s progress in achieving the SDGs. It includes four main elements: spatially referenced data, data stories, initiatives and surveys, and media highlights. The database of SDG indicators is available in the format of geospatial data web services, which helps in production of maps, data visualisations and data analyses.

This was a joint effort between Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC) and United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA). Globally, the UAE was the first country to include SDG-related initiatives as a part of the SDG hub in February 2019.
