The awards in the field of humanitarian work aim to recognise and praise the efforts of those people and institutes that contribute to the society and work to elevate the quality of life of people.
The Arab Hope Makers is an initiative that was launched in 2017 by Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) to honour the individuals and institutions that improve their communities and make a positive impact on the lives of people through humanitarian initiatives, projects and programmes. To qualify for the award, the efforts should be voluntary, without any profit or material benefit. Any person, organisation, association, volunteer group or institution who has a humanitarian initiative in any field is eligible to apply for the Arab Hope Makers Award under certain terms and conditions.

H. H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Excellence and Community Intelligence Programme includes a series of local, regional and international awards for families and individuals from all social and age groups, as well as institutions that provide and support family and community projects. The programme focuses on community intelligence and the ability to solve with community challenges and transform them into developmental opportunities. The programme’s three main areas are: individual excellence, teamwork and supporting bodies.
The Emirates Award for Arabian Gulf Youth is a platform that was launched in 2014 to connect youth between 18 and 35 years old with the society. It is an opportunity to spread their ideas and instil a sense of being a ‘social innovator’. It also gives the youth the opportunity to gain new skills, learn from successful social entrepreneurs and network with leading philanthropists from across the region.
