Strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2023-2026 aims to harness proactive diplomacy and foster strong bilateral and multilateral partnerships to achieve its foreign policy priorities. This strategy is designed to protect the UAE’s national interests, promote peace and security both regionally and globally, advance economic prosperity and provide excellent services and support to its citizens abroad.

Strategic goals

The strategy consists of five key objectives aimed at achieving the following:

1. enhancing the UAE’s reputation and soft power
2. promoting the global dialogue on sustainable development
3. boosting the UAE’s economic power and competitiveness at the regional and global levels
4. protecting the interests of the Emirati community abroad by providing exceptional consular services, as well safeguarding the interests of the UAE’s residents
5. supporting global efforts to maintain regional security and stability.
