The shift to the "Maashi" platform was driven by several challenges in the previous system: limited access to data for customers-especially insured individuals-lack of interactive services, reliance on manual processes prone to errors, absence of secure infrastructure, inconsistent data, and limited reporting for decision-making. With the growing number of customers and complex laws, there was a need for a digital platform that could support this scale and ensure operational governance. Maashi enabled wider electronic integration with government entities, automating contributions payments and ensuring accurate data and proactive service delivery. It now serves over 220,000 customers with 24/7 access and personalized services. As of January 9, 2025, customers can now access and verify their personal and insurance data in detail for the first time. This includes contribution details, actual service years, and more. Many discovered discrepancies due to employers not updating records regularly under the old system. With the updated mechanism on Maashi, data verification became mandatory before accepting contributions. No service-such as end-of-service or service merging-is processed without auditing data with both the Authority and employers. General Pension & Social Security Authority
