Artificial intelligence has become a defining element of the UAE's
leadership agenda and future vision. This is particularly evident in light of
the UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy, which aims to integrate AI
into services and data analysis at a rate of 100% by 2031, enhancing government
performance, accelerating
service delivery, and creating innovative working environments. Through
this strategy, the UAE seeks to become the world's leading government in
harnessing AI across all vital sectors, while creating a new, high-value
economic market in the region.
In line with this strategic direction, the Ministry of Human
Resources and Emiratisation has successfully adopted an innovative model for
incorporating AI across its systems, operations, services, and organisational
structure, as part of a comprehensive approach to strengthen the efficiency,
competitiveness, and agility of the labour market, while enhancing the ease of
doing business. This transformation supports the Ministry's efforts to
eliminate bureaucracy, elevate the customer experience, reinforce the UAE's
leadership in government services, and consolidate its position at the
forefront of the global digital economy.
The Ministry continues to expand the digital transformation of
labour market services by integrating AI-driven capabilities within a unified
government ecosystem. This includes enhancing data integration with government
entities through shared AI-enabled platforms to ensure data accuracy and rapid
information exchange. Such integration improves procedural efficiency, reduces
service delivery times, and provides a holistic view of the labour market. It
also empowers decision-makers to develop more flexible and effective policies,
positively impacting customer experience and strengthening the UAE's global
competitiveness.
The Ministry is also enhancing the decision-making ecosystem by developing AI-based predictive models that anticipate future labour market trends and identify emerging needs across various economic sectors. This forward-looking approach supports proactive planning and the development of policies aligned with national development priorities, ensuring the labour market remains prepared for rapid shifts and maintaining its long-term competitiveness.
