The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat recently launched the National Zakat Platform. This seeks to obtain accurate figures, improve data handling, and control zakat information. Furthermore, if we fail to carefully monitor zakat resources and their allocation, we will persist on a path laden with uncertainty, as managing zakat matters is a trust and a significant duty to the nation and community. At the present time, certainty can only be achieved through institutionalization, governance, transparency, and upholding the rule of law. This platform marks the initial phase of a sustainable journey towards complete digital transformation, with ongoing opportunities aimed at facilitating self-managed and automatic zakat payments in the future. Therefore, we need to employ technology to facilitate this religious obligation and streamline its process, making certain that zakat duty is fulfilled in line with the highest international quality standards. Moreover, collaboration and partnerships among stakeholders are essential for aligning efforts, merging visions, and ensuring the success of this platform.
