The UAE's roads connect to the neighbouring countries of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Sultanate of Oman. There are several crossing points along the borders; some are exclusive to GCC citizens. The new carrier will complement the services of Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi and cater to the growing low-cost travel market segment in the region.The new airline will start its operations from 14 July 2020 with direct flights to Alexandria and Sohag in Egypt. The inaugural flight will take off from Abu Dhabi to Alexandria on 14 July followed by flights to Sohag the next day.The carrier has been assigned the reservation code 3L by International Air Transport Association (IATA).
