Corona management in the NQA :
Seizing opportunities and responding positively under different circumstances is part of NQA’s development and journey toward excellence. That is why NQA ensured that work did not stopped due to the health pandemic.
The National Qualifications Authority prepared a Business Continuity Plan, reflecting steps to provide employees with alternative methods of supporting remote working. In addition, NQA trained the employees of each department, with their line managers, to work remotely and effectively while adhering to The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) guidelines and systems. On 26 March 2020, the National Qualifications Authority successfully adopted a 100 % remote working policy enabling all employees to work from home.
NQA meetings became effective and faster. NQA staff discussed obstacles, developed solutions and made decisions remotely. This experience added to lessons learnt and focused on future plans contained in the ‘Corona Management in the NQA Report’, a report which highlights NQA’s preparations and experience during the health pandemic.
